Warren ‘Corky’ Pattison Jr.
1953-2026
Warren ‘Corky’ Pattison Jr., of Moriah, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2026, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY, surrounded by his family. Corky was born on January 21, 1953, in Ticonderoga, NY, the third child of the late Warren Pattison Sr. and Betty (Fleming) Pattison.
Corky married Sandra Bobbie-Paris in Moriah on July 3, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Pattison, his children: Marionne (Brad) Hargett, Jennifer Temple, Louis (Leslie) Paris Jr., Martha Joslyn (Jason Jaquish), Michael Pattison, Cheryl (Michael) Stebbins, Christopher Pattison (Kristina Carr) & Brian Pattison; his grandchildren: Ben Hargett, Jacqueline (Caleb) Terwilliger & Jonah Temple, Xaia & Kian Paris, Jared & Justin Joslyn, Logan & Mara Jaquish, Hayden & Claire Stebbins, Sean, Marissa, Sebastian, Lilly & Ryder Pattison, Serenity & Kaitlyn Pattison; and his great grandchildren: Fiona, Annika & Sebastian Terwilliger. He is also survived by his siblings: Jane (Larry) DeGroff, Donna (Bob) Kitchin, Sherry Pattison, June (Fred) Jaquish, Jean (Ed) Allen; and in-laws: Gary (Lucie) Bobbie, Sharon O’Connor (John Santose), Robert (Theresa) Bobbie Jr. and numerous nieces & nephews who will all miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, mother-in-law & father-in-law Robert Sr. & Joan Bobbie, and in-laws Sheila (Wayne) Simard, Francis Bobbie & Lonne Bobbie.
After graduating from Moriah Central School in 1971, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for 10 years, and then spent 28 years working at International Paper in Ticonderoga, NY. Corky enjoyed many hobbies including reading, completing crossword puzzles, gardening & bowling. He also enjoyed feeding birds & ‘hanging out’ with his deer. He had a great sense of humor & enjoyed joking around.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Anyone wanting to honor his memory can make donations to the Town of Moriah Ambulance Squad, 628 Tarbel Hill Road, Moriah, NY, 12960, or to the Moriah Food Pantry, 18 St. Patrick’s Place, Port Henry, NY 12974.
