Virginia (Moul) Neggia

Virginia Neggia, age 94, of Witherbee, NY died on April 4, 2025, at home.

Virginia was born on December 6, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, and lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by a strong sense of family.

She was the daughter of George and Lena Moul, and foster daughter of Mary Vallegra.

Virginia touched the lives of many, but most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 78 years, John, daughters, Shirley (Bob), Audrey, and Jeannie. Grandchildren Rob (Monica), Traci (John), Craig (Kelly), Dana (Tim), Eric (Amanda), Erin (Joe), Brian (Dawn), Sean (Liz) and Leanne  (Jason). Greatgrandchildren Maggie, Eliana, Matthew, Nadia, Isaiah, Hayden, Tristan and twins, Jackson and Lucas.

Virginia was predeceased by her parents, foster mother, in-laws Joseph and Alphonsina Neggia, her sisters, Betty, Florence, Clara Lou, infant brother Ralph, and son-in-law Ed. 

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11:00am at All Saints Church, Mineville, New York with burial to take place at Saint Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Following the burial a luncheon with be held at the Mineville VFW Post 5802.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to High Peaks Hospice and to all the wonderful in home caregivers who provided compassionate and dedicated care and support over the past several months.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mineville VFW Post 5802 or the Mineville-Witherbee Fire Department.
