Victoria Baker Obituary

Victoria (Trybendis) Baker, 81, a loving mother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at UVM Medical Center Tuesday, November 7. Victoria graduated from Champlain Valley School of Nursing in Plattsburgh and was taught by the Grey Nuns. She was a deeply compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse, working in various states and hospitals throughout her life, most recently at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid. She was also an ER, County and Supervising Nurse. Her first priority was always her son, Roger, whom she loved with all her heart. She also dearly loved her sister, MJ. Vic loved the ocean and enjoyed her many trips with MJ to Florida. She was always kind, caring and extremely generous – especially to her nieces and nephews. She was greatly dedicated to her Catholic faith and her devotion to Our Blessed Mother and the Rosary. She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid. Victoria is survived by her son, Roger Baker, Lake Placid; sisters Karen Frampton, Long Island and MaryJane Slattery, Moriah, and her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Victoria was predeceased by her father and mother - Steve “Crip” and Helen Trybendis, brother Steve (Juli) Trybendis and sister Amelia Trybendis.
