Toni Rodriguez Obituary

Toni-Lynn Rodriguez was welcomed into the loving arms of Our Lord on March 30th, 2021. She was born on July 25th, 1982 in Saranac Lake, NY and was a graduate from the class of 2000 at Crown Point Central School. She spent the majority of her life in Witherbee, on Dalton Hill (Belfrey-Mountain) Road, where she resided at the time of her passing.

Toni was adventurous and fun-loving. Her carefree spirit and unmistakable laugh were contagious. She loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, having bonfires and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. From an early age her resilience was unmatchable, her strength and stubbornness one-of-a-kind. She could always be found caring for and rescuing animals like her bird Petri that she nursed back to health and she loved spending time with her family and friends who will remember her most for her kind and compassionate heart.

She was predeceased by her paternal great-grandmother Lena Rodriguez of Witherbee, paternal grandparents Jack and Delores “Lootz” Burhart of Grover Hills, maternal grandfather Clifford “Frog” Raymond Sr. of Mineville and her guardian angel dogs Kane and Rosco P.

She is survived by her loving parents Marie Rodriguez (Dean Sharrow) of Crown Point and Tony Rodriguez (Ella Fields) of Saranac, maternal grandmother Darlene (Johnny) Budwick of Port Henry, siblings Misty (Rob) Trim of North Bangor, Heath (Erin) Geiser of Ticonderoga and Tyler (Ashley) Rodriguez of Westport.

Also left to cherish her memory are her aunts and uncles: Clifford Raymond Jr. of Witherbee, Laurie Raymond (George Potter) of Port Henry, Robin (John) Martinez of Witherbee, Thomas Rodriguez of Lincoln Pond and (godmother) Marla Rodriguez of Ironville; nieces and nephews whom she loved so much: Abby (“Twitchet”), Jendra, Gabriella, Kamdyn and Chayse as well as many cousins and her beloved dogs Karli and Copper who were her cherished companions.

The family will hold a private ceremony and ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Toni’s memory to the North Country SPCA at PO Box 55, Elizabethtown, NY 12932.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
