Thomas Podres

Thomas Podres, 77, of Albany, NY passed away peacefully at the Glens Falls Center in Glens Falls, NY.

Tom, the son of Joseph and Anna (Glebus) Podres, grew up in Witherbee, NY. He attended Moriah Central School. After graduation he joined the Air Force where his job was taking off and landing planes from the tower. After serving four years he returned to Albany and opened a grocery store in Lake George. He also worked in several appliance stores.

Tom loved to fish on Lake Champlain and he loved betting on horses. He was a free spirit and a bundle of fun.

A graveside service will be held for Tom on Friday, April 25th at 11:00 at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Moriah.

His family would like to thank the Center for all the care from the rehab department and all the wonderful nurses. They could take care of every situation and he gave them such a hard time. Thank you so much girls. You are the best!
