Terry A. Ross-Crown Point

Terry Allen Ross, 71, of Crown Point was called by the Lord on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024.

He was born on January 16, 1953 the son of Ernest R and Edna Bly Ross.  

Terry was a graduate of Crown Point Central School. Right after graduating Terry enlisted in the United States Navy where he served and was honorably discharged after 8 years.

Terry had a passion for his family, friends, country and community as well as the NY Yankees and his pal Polly Dog.  He was currently serving as a trustee on the Crown Point School Board of Education. He also coached for many years the great athletes in school. 

Terry was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Edna Ross, and his sibling Patsy Dever as well as many relatives.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, who had cared for him since his inability to do it for himself. They were married 53 years.  He also leaves his children Katherine (James) Whitford, Elizabeth Clarke, and Matthew Ross (Angel). His grandchildren Kody (Kayla) Whitford, Chandler Whitford (AnabelLee) Tyler and Brendan Clarke, and Heaven Lane Ross.  

His surviving siblings are Betty (James) Garrison, Sandra (Ralph) Spaulding, and Peggy (Robert) Patnode.  He leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts and many friends.

There will be a military burial in Ironville Cemetery in Crown Point on Sunday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of his Life will follow immediately after at the Crown Point Fire Dept.
