Sylvia Caldwell Tromblee
8/5/1953- 2/8/2024
CROWN POINT- Sylvia Caldwell Tromblee passed away with her loving husband and family by her side on February 8, 2024. Sylvia was born August 5, 1953, in Fayetteville, TN. Sylvia graduated from Thornridge High School. She studied at Thornton Community College and the University of Houston.
Sylvia had a passion for life and a love of nature. Sylvia worked at Country Florist and Yankee Kingdom for many years where her passion for flowers and plants grew. In 2000, Bob and Sylvia started Tromblee’s Greenhouse. Sylvia loved visiting with the many customers and had a few special ones that held a special place in her heart. She retired in 2018 and passed the torch to Dan and Renee Scuderi. Sylvia loved her “Team Tromblee” and everything they have done to help Tromblee’s Greenhouse flourish.
Once Sylvia retired she picked up the paintbrush and started to create beautiful works of art that she started sharing with her friends and family. She created a Facebook page called God’s Country Gallery to share her art with the public. She had such a creative and beautiful eye.
Her favorite job was being a Grandma. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart and soul and they were the light of her life.
Sylvia was proud of the life that she and Bob created over the years.
Sylvia was predeceased by her father Shelvie Caldwell, mother Lydia Payne, and sister Jane.
