Sue A. Gonyo

Sue A Gonyo, 46 of Ticonderoga passed away Thursday night peacfully after a long battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by the people she loved.

Sue was born April 2nd, 1975, in Ticonderoga New York. She worked at many places including, Ames, Subway, Inter-Lakes Health, and she was curently the General Manager of the Super 8 in Ticonderoga, Glens Falls, and Warrensburg.

She is survived by her husband Fred Gonyo of 25 years. Her son William Gonyo and his girlfriend Hannah Whitford. Her daughter Samantha Ledger (Gonyo) and husband Brian Ledger. Sue is also survived by her two grandchildren Michael Ledger and Waylon Gonyo. She was very loved by all her family including sister and brother in laws Don and Tina Brown, Joe and Lynn Sawyer, Bob Gonyo and Holly Barns, and Fran and Brenda Gonyo as well as her mother in-law Mary Gonyo. She also loved spending time with her goddaughter Sarah Porter. Sue also had many great friends that are like family, including Joe and Paula Norton, Tracey and Ann Marie Elthorpe and many others.

Sue was predeceased by her mother Betty Coley and her father in-law Ronald Gonyo.

There will be no services, but the family hopes to have to a celebration of life at a future date.
