Stephen Orrin Williams of Crown Point, NY passed away on April 8,2022
Just 26 hours after the passing of his wife Dolores.
Born on 5/30/1954 in Middlebury Vermont to Orrin and Veda (Peltier) Williams.
Stephen cherished memories of his childhood on his grandparents farm in Orwell, VT and often spoke of the family that shaped his hard working values.
Steve was a professional driver at a young age. He loved it and took pride in teaching people who were interested in getting their CDL.
In 1975 he married the love of his life Dolores Williams.
Steve had many interests including 4x4 trucks, tractor pulls, model / remote planes
Classic cars, motorcycles and car racing. He was happiest introducing and being able to share these hobbies with his wife, family and friends.
But his biggest interests were his work and his family.
He held strong relationships with his immediate family as well as Aunts, Uncles and cousins from both the Peltier and Williams families and he had a way of making each daughter, grandchild, sibling, niece, nephew, cousin and friend feel that they were his favorite most important person in the world.
A story teller by nature he often relayed that
If you find something you love to do, you will never have to work a day in your life.
He was very proud to be able to provide for his family and had a strong belief that if he didn’t work for it he didn’t need it.
Maybe because of those ethics Steve was extremely generous with family and friends and kept very little for himself, choosing to earn his keep.
