Ruth E. (Chandler) Bezon

Ruth Bezon gained her wings Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Ruth was born March 10, 1925 in Port Henry New York. She was the oldest of nine children born to George and Wreatha( Baldwin) Chandler. Ruth was predeceased by six siblings Wreatha (Cowin), Mason, William Chandler, George Chandler, Mary Anne(Suzie)Piper, Minerva (Dolly)Burkes and Lena Wykes, she is survived by brother Benjamin Chandler and sister Diane Richards.  Ruth married the love of her life Frank Bezon in 1946. Ruth and Frank had four children, Frank, aka “Buck”( Barbara) Bezon, Donna(Mark)St.Pierre, John(Elaine) Bezon, and Michael(Nancy)Bezon. Later Ruth and Frank went on to have 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren who they loved with all their hearts. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2005 and her son Frank in 2021.  Ruth had a great love for her family, nature,flowers swimming,drawing, crossword puzzles,as well as long walks and drives.  Most summer days you would find her tending to her large garden and grooming her AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL  rose bushes. Ruth took great pride in these rose bushes and flower beds for all to enjoy. She loved to bake, one thing you could always count on was a fresh loaf of bread and a sweet treat every Sunday! Some of Ruth’s favorite stories to tell were the ones of her hunting in the woods with her father and how she was not afraid of anything big or small. She was a spitfire to say the least but mostly was an amazingly loving wife, mother and grandmother! She will be missed by her family immensely. Ruth will always be remembered for saying… LIFE’S a B**CH and then you Die. Per Ruth’s request there will be no calling hours and a private family service at the convenience of her loved ones.
