Roberta "Bobbie" (Pepper) Aurilio

Roberta "Bobbie" D. Aurilio, 68, of Moriah, NY, passed away just after midnight on the morning of Sunday, October 1st, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a selfless, caring, giving, and strong woman who would do anything for anyone. She was the rock of her large family and a proud mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on adventures with her sisters, and hitting the casino every chance she could get.

Born in Ticonderoga on September 13, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Majorie Pepper and is predeceased by her husband, John T. Aurilio.

Survivors include her father, Les Pepper and her children, Jamie Cheney (Charles Peterson), Heather Rancour (Bob Rancour) and John Aurilio Jr. (Ann Brace). She is survived by many siblings Butch Pepper (Miki Pepper), Frank Pepper (Gloria Pepper), Karen Gibbs (Chris Gibbs), Wanda Cox, Teresa Dufrane (David Dufrane), Sandy Wheelock (Rob Wheelock), Cheryl Pierce (Jeannette Warren), and soul sister Gail Oddy. She is survived by her grandchildren Trevor Cheney (Kayla Cheney), Jordan Cheney (Brooke Cheney), Hunter Cheney, Sophie and Foster Rancour, Elianna Gough, Jenna and Archer Peterson, and great granddaughter Amelia Cheney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Bobbie truly impacted every person she crossed paths with. She will be immensely missed by many.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 from 5-7 PM at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 6 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery in Port Henry.
