Robert Michael Rancour Sr, "Mike/Mikey", 66, of Ticonderoga, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, while in Boston after complications with his long awaited heart transplant. Throughout this tough journey, Mike showed the true meaning of grace and strength.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and a beloved member of his amazing community. Mike was active in fundraising efforts and always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who he was so proud of. He also loved his wife, Linda, dearly and going on adventures with her.
Born in Ticonderoga on February 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Joan DeRosia and Robert Rancour, as well as his step Father, Richard DeRosia. Mike was predeceased by his first wife, Carol Rancour (2009).
Survivors include his dedicated wife of eleven years, Linda Rancour; his sister Paula Rosenberger and her husband Bill of Cohoes, his daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Montville and her husband, Chad of Cadyville; his son Robert "Bob" Rancour and his wife, Heather of Plattsburgh; and his 4 grandchildren Brexton, Reese, Sophie and Foster
Mike will truly be missed by many. There will be a Celebration of Life in his honor on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 from 11-2 at the K of C in Ticonderoga.
