Robert H. (Bob) O’Born of Moriah, NY passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
He was born August 22, 1937, the son of the late Thomas O’Born and Jessica Pink.
Bob married Geraldine Rose “Jerry” O’Born November 30, 1966. They lived in Moriah, NY. He worked as a supervisor for International Paper Co. for 38 years. He was a member of the National Guard.
In Bob’s spare time he liked hunting, fishing and woodworking. He also liked spending time with his grandchildren. His children included William Bryan and the late Pamela Sargent and son Robert O’Born.
He is survived by his son Rob (Tammy) O'Born, Bill Bryan, son-in-law Gary Sargent; seven grandchildren, Gary (Vicki), Jim, and Jeremy (Erin) Sargent, Bridgette and Brandon Bryan, Kyle and Dana O’Born and seven great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years Geraldine O’Born.
A graveside service will be held at the Moriah Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
