Rebecca A. Cutting

Rebecca A. (Becky) Cutting, age 57, passed away October 19, 2025 with her family by her side. Becky was born in Ticonderoga, NY on January 9th, 1968 to Albert and Judy Cutting. Becky was predeceased by her partner George Glover and her father. 

She is survived by her mother, her children, Dakotah, Todd, Kenzee, and Chyna Cutting. Her sister Nancy (Ralph), her brother Fred (Jamie). Her nieces Megan Smith, Emily (Michael) Thomsen and Hailee Cutting. Her nephews, Tyler (Darien) Smith, Jaydon Lafountain and Landon Cutting. She is also survived by special friends Sharon O'Connor, Alicia Bryant and Bethany Martin. 

Becky moved to Florida in 1999 to be with the love of her life George. Together they did foster care. After George passed away, Becky adopted her four children and moved back to New York.

Becky worked for Mountain Lake Services for many years. She loved going in on Sunday's to make her huge breakfast for her people. She had a knack for cooking and could make a meal out of anything. In 2017 she started making wreaths and opened Adirondack Wreaths & Things. She was very talented and crafty. 

Becky loved her family more than anything, She loved camping, road trips, music concerts, adventures and get togethers, She was always making memories. Becky was a very caring and compassionate person. She would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by many people. 

We would like to thank CVPH Hospital for the excellent care and compassion they gave her and her family during this difficult time. 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd, 2025 from 6pm-8pm at Harland Funeral Home. Burial will be Thursday Oct. 23rd, 2025 at South Moriah Cemetery at 11am. Reception will be at 12pm at the Old Miner's Tavern
