Philippe was recruited by Percy Thompson (Logging Contractor) in the early 1950’s and moved to Ticonderoga, NY.  He worked for Percy Thompson for several years until he and his wife, Virginia (Breed) established their own logging business in 1958.  The Philippe Nadeau Logging Company was a local business that logged in the area and hired many people over the years.  Philippe and Virginia retired in 1996. Philippe and Virginia were married on March 16, 1956, and raised 2 children; Colette and Philip J. Philippe and Virginia built their home and resided in Crown Point, New York. They lived in the same home, on the same street surrounded by many family and friends.
