Patricia Ruth Sprague (1/5/1939-9/5/2023), 84 of Mineville, passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2023. Patricia is survived by her 3 children: Lynn (Kenny) Anderson, Kevin (Carol) Sprague, Karen (Kevin) Hammond, 2 stepsons, Dale (Patty) Sprague, David (Karen) Sprague, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, her sisters Mary Jane, Sue and brothers Dan and Paul. Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Patricia loved to sit outdoors, read books, work in her flower gardens, and most especially gambling. Patricia loved flowers; her home always had fresh cut flowers throughout. Patricia loved to listen to music, especially Alan Jackson (whom she was able to see in concert and loved every minute of it). Patricia was a laborer at International Paper for many years.
Patrica was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Patricia (Nina) had a special bond with her granddaughter Stacey and fiancé Andy, great grandson Dawson, and her great granddaughters Stella and Gwendolyn, who lived with her and cared for her.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Ruth Mitchell, her husband Donald, her daughter Lisa, and 4 brothers, James, Robert, Phil, and Gerald.
There will be no services, per Patricia’s request. Donations can be made to the Moriah Ambulance Squad.
Patricia (Nina) will be greatly missed.
