Mu-Chian Chang, 71, passed away on September 16th, 2025.
Mu was born on December 28th, 1953, in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated to the US with his parents in 1970 after spending several years in Libya and Malta.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee and wandered through many parts of the US before discovering the Adirondacks where he met and married the love of his life Elaine Margaret Vetter on December 28th, 1976.
After trying out the Florida lifestyle for a couple of years, they decided to move back to the Adirondacks and settle down in Elizabethtown NY, where he eventually retired from his supplier management position at Bombardier Transportation.
Mu loved observing the birds and critters in his yard, hiking the local trails and fishing in the streams, ponds and lakes. He took great pride in showing off the beauty of the Adirondacks to his many nieces and nephews when they came to visit.
Mu is survived by Elaine, his wife of 48 years, and is greatly missed by his siblings, nieces, and nephews.
