Michele Meehan Obituary

Crown Point –

Michele M. Meehan passed away on the morning of Tuesday July 12th 2022 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Culver City, California on October 4th, 1974, the daughter of Michael and Linda (Stoltz) Meehan.

  Michele attended Moriah Central School along with Job Corp where she obtained her G.E.D. She was a longtime Bartender and server at many local establishments. Most recently she worked as a cashier at Five Eleven Deli in Crown Point.

     Anyone who knew Michele knew they'd be greeted with a big smile and a warm hug. Michele loved her family and friends more than anything and her friendly nature had a way of setting people at ease. Michele had a huge heart, especially when it came to children, and there's nothing she wouldn't do for someone in need. Michele had a love for the outdoors and could be found hiking, golfing, planting flowers, or enjoying a fire with loved ones at the end of the day. She loves her cats and any dogs she came in contact with.

     In addition to her parents Michele was predeceased by her Grandmother Katherine Burns, Aunt Julia Towne and cousin Thomas Towne.

     Surviving family is her long time partner Vaughn Gibbs of Crown Point, brother John Chapin III of Sand Springs, OK, brother Daniel Meehan and wife Jennifer Brouillette, niece Ambellina Meehan, nephew Chace Meehan all of Vergennes, VT, nephew Ashton Hilpertshauser of Hudson Falls, NY, uncle Paul Burns of Crown Point, NY, cousin Brian Benedetti of Dobbs Ferry ,NY, cousins Alex & Jill Muller of Katonah ,NY and much more extended family.

     Calling hours will be Sunday July 17th, 6-8pm at the Harland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Monday July 18th, 11am at White Church Cemetery in Crown Point.
