Obituary
Maxine Griswold Tromblee, 76, of Moriah, died peacefully at Elderwood Nursing Home on April 6, 2023. She was born in Moriah on October 23, 1946 to Earl and Mary Griswold.
Maxine loved bingo and horses. She was a die hard country music fan and loved to dance. She also had a huge talent for crocheting and knitting. Many children were blessed to wear her beautiful sweater and bootie sets and others got to curl up in her blankets. Maxine was always the life of the party and enjoyed being around family and friends having a good time.
She was predeceased by her loving husband William “Pete” Tromblee as well as her parents. She is survived by her two sons Peter (Lisa) Tromblee of West Chazy and Brian (Carrie) Tromblee of Maine. She is also survived by two grandsons Devin Tromblee and Eric Forand and a great granddaughter Eliza Forand.
There will be no calling hours. A burial will take place in the Spring. Arrangements will be made by Harland Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to the Moriah Ambulance Squad.
