MARIELLE GRIMARD

On Tuesday April 6, 2021, Marielle A. Grimard passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Beekmantown, NY, at the age of 79.

 
Marielle was born August 24, 1941 in Tahawus, NY to Theodore Grimard and Marie Blanche Becotte-Grimard. She graduated from Newcomb High School in 1958.

Marielle’s spirit is carried on by her three children; Kevin Boyle (Kim Rielly) of Westport, NY, Brian Boyle (Courtney) of Morrisonville, NY, and Michelle Jaramillo (Kevin) of La Junta, CO; her nine grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and her five siblings.  

Marielle held a number of professional roles in her life including positions with Chazy and Westport Telephone Corporation; Lakeview Photo, and Adirondack Regional Tourism Council, where she retired in 2015.

Marielle was a devoted mother and had a passion for sewing and crafting, reading, the French language, comedy movies, and bird watching. She will be deeply missed by her family.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 11am on Friday, April 16, 2021 at St. Philip Neri church in Westport, NY. (Note that space is very limited due to COVID restrictions.) Condolences for the family can be left at www.harlandfuneralhome.com.
