Margaret E. (Jacobs) Carpenter

Margaret E. Carpenter, 96, formerly of Ticonderoga, passed away on January 12, 2025 at the Essex Center in Elizabethtown, NY.

She was born May 18,1928 in Witherbee, NY, the daughter of George and Julia (Nagy) Jacobs.

Margaret worked for Niagara Mohawk in Ticonderoga for many years. She enjoyed helping residence with the activities at the Essex Center.

She is survived by her niece Stefanie Posada as well as several other nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, George and Julia, and 8 brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery in Port Henry in the Spring.
