Lucille Trow Obituary

Port Henry

Lucille M. Trow passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 99 at Elderwood in Ticonderoga, NY.

She was born to James P. Levesque and Augustine Jacques in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada on May 7, 1925. She was the oldest of 7 children. On April 10, 1950, she married John (Jack) Trow in Pont du Lac, Quebec and then came to the United States to live.

She was a devout Catholic and had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Theresa. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick’s Church for many years and enjoyed helping with the church functions. She loved being around people, so her 20 years with Grand Union was a joy to her. Being a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she filled our lives with a lot of laughter and wonderful memories to carry with us.

Lucille is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle (Miki) Pepper and husband Les and Josette (Jody) Whalen and husband Paul; Grandchildren, Nate (Christy) Pepper, Joseph (Jen) Pepper and Michael Whalen; Great Grandchildren, Katie and Addie Pepper; Madeleine, Lily and Olivia Pepper. She is also survived by 3 sisters in Canada, Claudette, Doris and Lise and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Augustine, her husband Jack Trow, her son John Trow, her brothers, James and Paul Levesque and sister Therese.

The family would like to thank Elderwood Assisted Living staff and Elderwood Nursing Home staff for all the kindness and care you gave to her during her stay.

Per Lucille’s request there will be no calling hours and a private family service in the summer.
