Lonny McCray Sr, 67, passed away peacefully at CVPH Medical Center with his loving family by his side on 3/21/2020. He was fighting many health illnesses. He worked for the Crown Point historical site from 1992-1998. He then he started work at Walmart in Ticonderoga in 2000-2009.
He is predeceased by his father James (Jimmy) McCray and his mother Katie (Ives) Avery and his brother Hoppy.
His survivors are his wife of 32 years, Susan McCray (Hall) and his children Ron McCray and his wife Amy McCray and their daughter Veronica McCray of Gloversville,
Lonny McCray Jr and his kids Victor McCray, Owen McCray and Hayleigh McCray and Reva McCray and her companion Nicholas Lord of Plattsburgh and her kids Evalina Stice and Alvin Novak, his brothers Mike McCray and his wife Janice of Moriah, Francis McCray and his wife Brenda of Moriah, Richard McCray and Cheryl of Schroon Lake, Brenda and Eric Fish of Plattsburgh. He had many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews who he adored.
He loved going out spending time with his friends and family. He was an outgoing young soul. He loved fishing with his daughter Reva McCray and his grandchildren.... he loved working on his truck and any vehicle he could work on. He was a hardworking man who loved everyone and also had a smile on his face when he seen his family he was loved dearly by.
