Leo A. Trombley

Leo A Trombley Jr (Papa Leo)3/4/55-8/11/21

On August 11, 2021 Leo passed away at CVPH with his family by his side. Leo was born in Ticonderoga NY to the late Leo & Dorothy (Savage) Trombley. Leo worked at Mountain Lake services for several years and part time for Moriah Central school. He was also a member of the National Guard from 1973-1980. He was predeceased by his brothers Leonard, Raymond and Fredrick and sisters Jeanne and Mary & father in law John Russo.

Leo is survived by his wife Theresa and children Rick, Amy (Hiram), Becky, Karla and Travis (Danielle); Grandchildren Tyler, Victor, Vinny, Hayden, Nicholas, Adrienne, Zuleyka, Ryleigh, Levi, Easton & Remi; Great grandchildren Tanner and Owen; Brothers and sisters Rachel (Bill) Macdougal, Thelma (Joe) Gaddor, Henry (Tina) Trombley and Mariona(John) Townsend; Several nieces and nephews with which he shared a special bond; Special friends Tina & Alex.

Leo enjoyed planting & tending to his garden, spending time with family and his grandchildren.  His famous saying to the grandkids was “This is Papa’s house there are no rules here!!” and letting them know the snack drawer is always full for them! There is going to be one great game of cards going on there as John, Elmer, Papa John and Leo are reunited! There will be a celebration of Leo’s life on August 18, 2021 @ his home on 18 Mountain Spring Rd from 1-4.
