Leo J. Ross

Leo Joseph Ross, 76 of Hague, NY passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022.
Born in Ticonderoga, NY, Leo attended Hague Central School. After high school he enlisted in the Army. Upon returning to Hague, Leo started his career working for Morgan Marine in Silver Bay where he was skilled in the restoration of Chris-Craft boats. Leo finished out his career with
International Paper Company as a master electrician where he made many lifelong friends. Leo loved hunting and fishing and sharing this passion with his brothers and grandchildren. Leo also loved the Red Sox, tinkering in his garage, and woodworking. Leo always had a dog by his side and his faithful companion Tootsie will miss him immensely.
Leo was predeceased by his sister Judith Ann and his parents, Wesley and Clara Ross. He is survived by his wife Linda Ross, a childhood sweetheart reunited and wed after many years apart. Leo is also survived by his siblings; Eva Backman, Clifford Ross, Darlene Dorsett, Dawn Millington, Karen Leonard, Cheri Drake, Steve Ross and Todd Ross. Survivors also include his
daughters; Lana Ross-Hills (Jack), Janet D’Agostino, Amy Cho, Sarah Hutchins (Scott), Paula Pelkey (Aaron), his sons; Caleb Spaulding (Tara), Rich Spaulding (Olga) and his grandchildren; Jack Hills III, Wesley Hills, Olivia D’Agostino, Chloe D’Agostino, Zoe Bilow, Grace Bilow,
Bailey West, Tanner Macey, Maddie Hutchins, Morgan Macey, Jonathan Spaulding, Hunter Spaulding, Jadan Spaulding, Walton Pelkey, Brady Pelkey, Dorothy Pelkey and Olga Kolomiets, great grandchildren; Isaiah and Otto Spaulding.
There will be a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church in Crown Point at 11:00 am on Friday July 8, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at his home in Hague on July 9, 2022 beginning at 1:00 pm. All who wish to share in his memory are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Country SPCA in Elizabethtown.
