Joseph F. Glebus

Joseph “Joey” Glebus left this world to the arms of Our Lord Jesus on May 26, 2025.  He was born to Joseph and Angele Glebus on August 23, 1953.  He was a proud army veteran and ironic that he left this world on Memorial Day 2025. 

He is predeceased by his parents and brother Matthew.

He is survived by two daughters, Cara, and Laura and one granddaughter Aria.  He is also survived by his brother Michael (Suzanne) of Warrensburg, his sister Barbara (Walter) Pratt of Corinth, his sister Germaine (Joe) Brace of Virginia and his sister-in-law Donna Glebus of Port Henry.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by his very special friends, Larry and Deb Casey and Dave Casey along with the love of his life, Mary.

Through his life’s journey he had a zest for living and laughter.  He loved spending time with his family and friends doing just that.  He loved fishing, baseball, and telling stories about all that he loved.  He had a passion for music and old-time classic TV shows.  Most of all he was genuine and proud of those he loved. 

There will be no calling hours.  There will be graveside burial at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Moriah on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 12:00p.m.
