 March 6, 1971 – August 2, 2024

Moriah, NY - Joseph Karonhiakeron Robert Chamberlain passed away on August 2, 2024, after a short illness, at the age of 53. He was predeceased by his father, Alfred J. Chamberlain Jr., in 2018. Joseph leaves behind his beloved mother, Gladys Chamberlain, and sister, Sylvia Chamberlain. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Danielle and Alexandria ("Alley"), and his significant other, Cynthia Arno, the mother of Alley. Joseph was cherished by his nieces, Hannah and Syeeda, nephews, Jacob and Damyn, and many cousins both north and south of the border of Canada. Joseph embraced life with boundless enthusiasm, was a hardworking individual, and always took great care of his family. Like his father, he had a passion for working on cars and always aspired to own his dad's '77 Corvette. He enjoyed camping with his family and was an ardent fan of Heavy Metal such as the band Metallica, a fact well-known to those close to him. In accordance with his wishes, Joseph will be cremated. A church service will be held at St. Patrick's in Port Henry, NY, followed by a gathering of family and friends at his mother's home in Moriah, NY. The date for these arrangements will be announced later. There will be no calling hours.
