Jeanne M. Meachem, 90, passed peacefully at CVPH Medical Center on February 25, 2023.  Jeanne was born on July 23, 1932.  She worked at Simmons Precision and also worked as a Cafeteria Aide at Crown Point Central School.  But her best job was being a mother and a grandmother.  Jeanne loved spending time with her family, sitting on her porch on nice days listening to her favorite country music and she always looked forward to Saturday nights listening to her Polka music.

Jeanne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 38 years, Robert Meachem, grandson Cory Armstrong, father Stanley Winch, mother Dorothy Baker, sister Joyce Brace and brother John Meachem.  She is survived by her children: Barbara (Mike) Armstrong, Carol (Charles) Cavitt, Roger (Brenda) Meachem, Ray (Marilyn) Meachem, Russell (Debbie) Meachem, Richard (Michelle) Meachem, daughter-in-law Amy Meachem, her siblings Betty (Francis) Pertak, Joe (Brenda) Meachem,  and Aunt Mary Tubbs.  Jeanne is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The love she had for her entire family will be a feeling that lives inside all of us forever!

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A graveside service will be held at the White Church Cemetery in the spring.
