Janet Marie (Hebert) Fleming

Janet Marie Fleming, 83, passed away on March 2, 2025 in Elizabethtown, New York at Elizabethtown Community Hospital.  Born on February 6, 1942, Janet was the youngest daughter of Elizabeth and Roman Hebert. She grew up alongside her three sisters, Elaine Kimball, Blanche Ida, and Shirley Sherman, all predeceasing her.  She was known for her humility, kindness, and deep care for others. A devoted wife and mother, she cherished her family and worked tirelessly to provide for them. She was an exceptional cook and homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love. She was just a good, all-around lady, one of the best. Janet is survived by her husband of 64 years, Percy, sons Tracy Fleming (Lisa) of Angier NC and Dean Fleming (Korri) of New Russia NY, grandchildren, Tara St. Claire (Scott) of Angier NC and Justin Fleming (Aimee) of Columbia Heights, MN, a great grandchild Elliott, a special niece Diane Bauer, as well as many friends and family members.  The family would like to thank the staff at Elizabethtown Community Hospital for their caring and compassion in her time of need. You all were wonderful. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Per her request, there will be no calling hours or services. Donations may be made to the Moriah Ambulance Squad in her name. May she rest in peace.
