MINEVILLE – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James R. Wright, on Sunday, March 16, 2025.  He was born August 9, 1940, in Ticonderoga, one of fourteen children born to the late John and Elizabeth (Reed) Wright.

Bingo, as he was affectionately known, is survived by one brother, Roger Wright originally of Moriah, NY; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, the morning Stewarts gang, and many friends. He also leaves behind his canine companion “Charlie”.

Bingo was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Wright Podmore and Shirley Allen; and his ten brothers, Charles Wright, John Wright, Ernest Wright, Ralph Wright, Vernon Wright, Norman Wright, Thomas Wright, Raymond Wright (Congressional Medical of Honor Recipient), Robert Wright, and Donald Wright.

Interment with full military honors will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at a date to be announced. All family and friends are welcome.  There will be no calling hours.
