Ileana Cynthia (Napper) Tryon

Ileana Cynthia Tryon 89, of Westport, New York, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Elderwood nursing home in Ticonderoga.

She was born on April 5, 1929, in Westport. The daughter of William and Vida (Wright) Napper. She graduated from Westport Central School, class off 1947. After high school Ileana went to Hotel school in Washington, D.C. On August 27 1954, Ileana was united in marriage to John Tryon of Westport.

Ileana was a member of the Westport Federated Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Ileana is survived by two sons, J. Todd Tryon of Sacramento, California and Thad and Crystal Tryon of Westport, New York; two grandchildren Jackie McKenna Tryon of Sacramento, CA and Tyrel Tryon of Westport, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Ileana was predeceased by her husband John Tryon; her parents William and Vida Napper; a brother James Napper; and a sister Oma Babcock.

At Ileana’s request, there will be no services. There will be a private burial.
