1943-2025

Gloria passed away on July 16th at her home in Mineville after a very long battle with cancer.

She was born to the late Elsie O’Dell and Henry Fillioe. She was raised in Putnam, NY. During that time, she met her husband, Donald Genier of Mineville. They moved to Connecticut where they lived and worked for 42 years.  They then moved to Mineville where they enjoyed life to its fullness. She loved going to the casino and working in her garden. Her house was always full of flowers. Gloria was a shy person who didn’t say much unless someone talked to her first. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by husband Don, Don Jr. and Sara of Ticonderoga, aunts Evelyn Bush, Betty Groshans, Mary and Arnold LaFountain, Joanne White and Rose Smith, brother Doug and Rose Granger, sisters-in-law Fran Granger, Gert Genier, Angie Genier, brother-in-law Glenn Genier and many nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her stepdad Harold, stepbrothers, Harold Jr., David, Steven and stepsister Debbie.

You will be sadly missed by your husband and son.
