Port Henry--- Eva (Woods) Provoncha 61 of Port Henry, peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her family.

Eva attended Crown Point and Moriah Central schools where she met Jerry Provoncha while in the eighth grade. She married Jerry on October 7th 1978 and began her family of four children to whom she devoted her entire life. There was nothing she enjoyed more than raising and caring for her children and grandchildren.
Other than providing undivided attention to her children, she enjoyed working at an apple orchard where she could be outdoors. She worked as a broker for families with special needs and loved being able to help others. Most recently she was employed by Community, Work and Independence Inc. as a personal care provider. She loved to crochet blankets, sew and make crafts for her kids and grandkids. One of her favorite pastimes was to sit by the fire visiting with friends and family as her home was always open to everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, her children Nichole Provoncha of Port Henry, Linda (Todd) Waldorf of Crown Point, Michelle (Jon) Rodriguez of Crown Point, Jerry Jr. (Hannah) of Crown Point, Richard Kimball of Port Henry, and her grandchildren, Tristan, Brendan, Cameron, Lauren, Megan, Jared, Jonalee, Xander, Levi and Madison.
