1944-2024

Eugene Wilson, age 81, of Mineville, New York passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side after a short illness at Glens Falls Hospital.

Eugene graduated from high school in Mineville, New York and shortly after began a 41 year career at International Paper Co. as a warehouse supervisor.

Eugene was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was passionate in maintaining his yard and gardens. In his later years, he volunteered with several organizations.

Eugene is survived by his wife Sharon of 53 years and children Tammy Espinoza (Carlos), Shane Wilson (Rebecca), Deborah Canape (Michael), Tamara Pasin (Richard) and Jamie Wilson (Christine).

He also leaves behind grandchildren Mary and Shane Wilson, Christine and Devan Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Michael, Sarah Duncan (Brad), Christina and Catherine Canape, Taylor (Christopher), Bailey (Miguel), Olivia and Julia Pasin; great grandchildren Killian Samstag, Benjamin and Riley Dunca, Wilson Cook, Romeo and Veda Hizon as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no words to express how grateful we are for all the love and support from family and friends.

There will be a graveside service for Eugene at Union Cemetery in Port Henry, New York on Thursday, June 13th at 11:00 AM following will be a celebration of life at the VFW in Mineville, New York.
