Eugene W. Barcomb, 70 of Townsend Massachusetts passed away peacefully on May 3rd ,2022 surrounded by his loving family after battling a brief illness. Eugene was born and raised in Witherbee NY and went to Moriah Central School.

In life Eugene was known for his humor and quick wit, which has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. He also had a love for music and sang and played guitar at every family reunion or would just randomly pick up his guitar and play. He loved spending time with family and friends and loved his grandchildren dearly, they were his pride and joy. He also loved to play and trivia game and yes loved watching Jeopardy. He wasn’t wrong very often in that aspect and made everyone who knew him NOT want to play against him.
Eugene was also an avid sports fan, baseball especially. He was possibly the Yankees biggest fan hands down with Yankees and baseball memorabilia that could have at one point rivaled that of Cooperstown. He also enjoyed watching football and was a big Steelers fan. He was possibly the Refs biggest critic when it came to calling the games, which all football fans can relate.
