Ellen (Bonesteel) Morin

Ellen passed peacefully on the morning of November 19th, 2023, with her

daughter by her side, in Elizabethtown Hospital. She was born April 6th, 1947, on

Easter Sunday. She’s the daughter of Elizabeth and Raymond Bonesteel.

Ellen worked many years at Elk Lake Lodge, until her retirement.

Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family, and playing cards on Friday

evenings with her friends. Also, many fun trips to Gettysburg, which was where

she and Dave renewed their vows on their 40th wedding anniversary.

Ellen is survived by her daughter Rebecca (Ricardo) Rodriguez of Mineville. Son

David of Plattsburgh. Grandchildren Joseph (Tricia) Rodriguez of Rouses Point

and Emilee Rodriguez of Mineville, and four other grandchildren. Great

grandchild Bentley Rodriguez of Rouses Point. Uncle Robert Neaves of Virgina,

and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Emile Morin, her parents,

and special dog Brutus.

At Ellen’s request there will be no calling hours; services for her, Emile, and

Brutus will take place at South Moriah Cemetery on Friday December 15, 2023 at

11am. Following the services, there will be a celebration of life, for both her and

Dave, at their residence 9 Wall Street.
