Elizabeth Williams Burlingame passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022.
Born in Port Henry on December 2, 1946, she was the daughter of Gerald and Regina Williams.
Beth attended Port Henry High School and obtained an LPN degree in Albany, NY and an RN
degree in Glens Falls, NY.
Beth is predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Regina Williams, her brother, Lynn Williams and
her brother-in-law Ross Vrooman.
Survivors include her three daughters, Linda Lee Burlingame of Hudson Falls, NY, Susan (Scott)
Montville of Ticonderoga, NY and Colleen (Michael) Stipo of South Carolina. Her siblings
Gloria (Gilles) Bergeron of Lake Worth, FL, Kate Vrooman of Gansevoort, NY, Janet (Russ)
Gallo of Ticonderoga, NY, Wallace (Elizabeth) Williams of Milton, FL, Gerald (Rachel)
Williams of Ticonderoga,NY and Arlene Williams of Craddockville, VA. Her grandchildren,
Zachary Bennett, Grace Montville Bresnahan (Collin), Samantha Montville, Ruby Bennett,
Michael Stipo Jr, and Stevie Madison Montville and her great-granddaughter Charlotte Lorraine
Bresnahan and many nieces and nephews.
Beth had a long successful nursing career and also many years of volunteer work. She will
always be remembered as a loving mother with a beautiful smile. She also enjoyed and was very
talented at many arts and crafts. Beth was also a very devoted Catholic and loved to sing in the
choir.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on August 5th at 9:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church of Port
Henry, NY.
Donations in Beth’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
