On October 12, 2023, Donna Passed away at Elizabethtown Community Hospital with family by her side.

Born in Ticonderoga September 2nd, 1956, the daughter of Norm and Nancy (Hanson) Provoncha, the 3rd of 10 children.

Donna graduated from Moriah Central High School in 1974. She started raising her family with Kevin Duross after graduation and had 4 sons. Donna lived in many places throughout the country before returning to Moriah where she enjoyed the last 10 years.

Some of Donna’s favorite pass times include playing pinochle with family, doing crossword puzzles, watching NCIS, and Law and Order and enjoying Daisy, the family dog who she cherished. She was quick witted and enjoyed a good laugh.

She was predeceased by her parents Norm and Nancy Provoncha, a sister Judy Provoncha, ex-husband Kevin Duross and Sister-in-law Eva Provoncha.

Donna is survived by her 4 children, Kevin DuRoss Jr. of Brushton NY, Brady (April)DuRoss of Ky, William (Katie) DuRoss of Ky, Jeremiah (Margert) DuRoss of Brushton NY. Her siblings Dave (Cathy) Hanson of FL, Norman (Linda) Provoncha of Ticonderoga, Jerry Provoncha of Port Henry, Richard (Betty Smith) Provoncha of Port Henry, Tony (Kathy)Provoncha of Port Henry, Cindy (Tom) Fairbrother of Moriah, Patrick (Patricia) Provoncha of Fl., and Amy (Walter) Dever of Mineville. Numerous Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

The Family would like to express their gratitude to the Elizabethtown Community Hospital, who took excellent care of Donna in her final days.

We would also like to thank Amy and Walter Dever for their outstanding care and love they gave her in her time of need.

A Grave side service will take place at the Union Cemetery in Port Henry on Wednesday Oct. 18th at 11am.

A family gathering will occur following the funeral to celebrate her life.
