Dolores Marie LaMere Williams of Crown Point, NY
Passed away on Thursday April 7, 2022 with her family by her side.
Born 9/10/1956 in Albany, NY to George and Dorothy (Whittemore) LaMere.
Dolores grew up and attended school in Albany and Coxsackie NY before marrying
Stephen Williams in 1975 and choosing Crown Point for her permanent home.
Dolores was a great cook and was known for her Cabbage Rolls and Macaroni and Cheese among many other dishes. If asked, there was no actual recipe, you just add this and add that until it’s right.
Dolores worked various jobs over her years but her true legacy is her love of family.
She was happy to spend time with and created a unique bond with each member of her family that will carry them through in her absence. She came off as strict and stern but you quickly understood that she was consistent, dependable and could always be counted on to help you in anyway she could.
She was proud to have been the family caregiver and she provided security for her loved ones that will be missed deeply.
Dolores preferred a simple life and possessed the rare gift of happily living the life she chose.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy (Whitemore) LaMere
Brothers Frank LaMere, Richard LaMere and George LaMere Jr
She was survived only 26 hours by her soulmate, best friend and husband
Stephen Williams.
She is lovingly survived and will forever be missed by her daughters:

Sisters in law: Marsha Sweeney LaMere, Donna LaMere and Julianne Budwick.
She is also survived by many honorary grandchildren and many many
nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 1pm
Fairview cemetery Crown Point, NY.
A remembrance reception immediately following at their daughter’s home on SugarHill, Crown Point.
