Born 9/10/1956 in Albany, NY to George and Dorothy (Whittemore) LaMere.

Dolores grew up and attended school in Albany and Coxsackie NY before marrying

Dolores was a great cook and was known for her Cabbage Rolls and Macaroni and Cheese among many other dishes. If asked, there was no actual recipe, you just add this and add that until it’s right.

Dolores worked various jobs over her years but her true legacy is her love of family.

She was happy to spend time with and created a unique bond with each member of her family that will carry them through in her absence. She came off as strict and stern but you quickly understood that she was consistent, dependable and could always be counted on to help you in anyway she could.

She was proud to have been the family caregiver and she provided security for her loved ones that will be missed deeply.

Dolores preferred a simple life and possessed the rare gift of happily living the life she chose.
