Diane Gilbo Obituary

Diane Mary Gilbo, 69, passed away on July 3, 2018 after a lengthy battle with ALS. (Lou Gehrig Disease). Diane graduated from Moriah Central School in 1967. She graduated from Trinity College with a degree in psychology.  She then was employed by Franziska Racker Centers for several years.  She was married to Harold Colburn of Mineville, New York on August 28, 1971 and were married for 18 years.  They had one daughter, Brooke Colburn Malone of Ithaca, New York. 

Diane enjoyed making gardening landscapes.  She was known for her artistic abilities, working with stain glass, golf, game fishing, bowling, and traveling.  Her biggest joys were her two grandsons, Quincy, 17 and Isaiah, 15 who live in Ithaca.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Brooke and son-law Todd Malone, and sisters Donna Cook, Doreen Johnson, Denise Pratt, Darcy Gilbo, three brothers, John, Edward and William Gilbo . She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Doris Gilbo.
