Daniel G. McLaughlin

Daniel George McLaughlin, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his home.

Daniel was born on August 24, 1981 in Killeen, TX to Gary and Ingelore (Kratz) McLaughlin.

Daniel graduated in 1999 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He attended basic training at Fort Knox and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX where he worked as a tank crewman.  He returned to Crown Point and worked construction.

He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He also liked motorcycles, snowmobiles, four- wheelers, John Deere and the Denver Broncos. His proudest moments are being a loving father to his daughters and he was always lending a hand.

Daniel was predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Helene McLaughlin, and George and Greta Kratz.

Left to cherish his memories are his three beautiful daughters, Lydia and Natalie (Crystal) and Hadley (Jordan), his parents Gary and Elo,  sister  Denise (Richard Leerkes) McLaughlin, special Aunt and Uncle Bon and Kevin McLaughlin, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in August 2021.
