Constance L. (Moore) Thatcher

Constance Louise Thatcher, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 19, 2020.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter, her daughters Debbie Thatcher and Pam McGinness, her grandson Paul Martin, her great granddaughters Peyton Thatcher and Tiara Underwood, and sons-in-law Tom Dorsett and Donnie McGinness.

Left to cherish her memory are her children,Steve (Aggie) Thatcher, Sue Dorsett and companion Mike, Sharon (Dan) LaFountain, Ginny (Bud) Barone, Vickie (Ed) Hanson, Lisa (Dan) Harrington, Walter (Marlene) Thatcher, Donald Thatcher, Maureen (Greg) Morgan, thirty-one grandchildren and close to 100 great and great-great grandchildren.

Connie will be remembered as a strong, resilient woman who was the adored matriarch of this enormous family. She loved being at home surrounded by her family. She loved Sunday morning coffee with the after church crowd, her gardens, bird watching, and her beloved Yorkies. She was fiercely competitive with card games, especially evenings spent playing Nickels. There was nothing better than her spaghetti sauce, and you could always be sure that there would be chocolate cake when visiting.

Connie was a woman of strong faith, always with a bible and a rosary by her bedside. Her loss leaves an emptiness that can never be filled.
