Christine Garrison

Christine Garrison a beloved mother, loving grandmother, cousin and friend left this world after declining health and brief illness on November 29, 2020 loved and cherished.  Born February 20, 1925 in Tarboro, North Carolina, Christine moved to Baltimore, Maryland as a child and resided there until her marriage.  Christine and her young family move to Port Henry, New York 72 years ago.  Christine was a past member of the United Methodist Church of Port Henry where she was part of the Women’s Group. She was a skilled seamstress, knitter, crocheter, and crafter. After being a homemaker for many years Christine had a long and successful career at then Simmons Precision/BF Goodrich in Vergennes, Vermont where she was awarded commendations and retired after 35 years of exemplary service.  Christine took great pride on working on space shuttle components for America’s space exploration.  Christine loved spending time with her family who were always first in her world.  Christine was preceded in death by her husband John Garrison, son Darryal, and daughters Jacquelyn, Wanda and Iris. She leaves behind her son Dean; and daughter Zelda Garrison-Desany, her husband Peter Desany and their daughter, Micaela Garrison-Desany.   Christine will be missed but memories bring smiles and joy.
