QUEENSBURY, NY - Carolyn P. Tilley, 83, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving children.
She was born May 7, 1942 in Moriah, NY, the daughter of the late Fay and Anna Pepper.
Carolyn attended Moriah High School and Albany Business College. She was a stay at home Mom who enjoyed going to her children's many sporting events. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, crossword puzzles, reading and FOX News. She was very creative and loved to decorate for the holidays. She went out of her way to make her childrens' holidays special and over the top. Christmas was her favorite time of year where she meticulously decorated her home and spent hours wrapping each and every present to look like it came out of a Charles Dickens' painting. She loved her many pets, especially her Rottweiler Sheriff and Chocolate Lab Rilee. She enjoyed working at Tilley's Nite Club with her husband and son Corey. In the past two years, her greatest pleasure was to visit with her two great-grandaughters Siena and Gia.
Carolyn is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Roger Tilley; her daughter, Tracy Lee Tilley; her parents; and her sister, Shirley Tedford.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Roger Scott Tilley, Caren (Frank) Crocilla, Lynne (Jack) Rawson, Charles Patrick Tilley and Corey Thomas Tilley. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Frank (Jenna) Crocilla, Nicholas Crocilla and Brooke (Matthew) Servello; her great-grandaughters: Siena Isabella Servello and Giavanna Maria Crocilla; her brother Charles Pepper; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her lifelong friends Wayne and Joanna Carlton, Bob Boothby, Jeanne LeClaire and Derek Sprague.
A special thanks to Faith Crosse, who was not only a great friend to Carolyn, but also a wonderful caregiver to her in the months preceding her death.
