Barbara was known to one and all by the name Jean.
She is predeceased by her husband Jack Harrington, her daughter Barb Harrington, brother

Jean lived her entire life in Crown Point. She attended Crown Point Central School, raised her
family in Crown Point, and had life -long friends here. She had an endless amount of love and
support for her family. In retirement years she enjoyed spending the winter in Florida with her
husband Jack, and the rest of the time in Crown Point with her family. She loved attending
sporting events at the school and could be heard cheering on her grandchildren and great
grandchildren at their games. She never missed a concert, play, or school activity that her family
was involved in. Jean was extremely lucky and enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, Jai
Alai, and the dog track, often coming home with winnings. Many a night was spent around the
table, playing cards with family and friends. Jean loved having people stop by for a visit,
welcoming them in, and enjoying their company. She loved listening to music and dancing.
When you think of Jean these things automatically come to mind; refrigerator soup, Cheez it
crackers, 2-1-7, lilacs, cards signed “Happy Days”, and the song “You Are My Sunshine.”
We will all hold your memory in our hearts. Until we meet again, Happy Days!
