Barbara Brassard Obituary

Barbara Beebe Brassard, passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vermont. Barb was born on June 23, 1948 in Elizabethtown, NY to Freeman and Anna [Moskwik] Beebe. Barb grew up and lived all her life in Moriah. She graduated from Moriah Central School in 1966. After high school she attended beautician school in Burlington, Vermont. She worked for many years as a beautician.

Barb is survived by her son Tom (Char), grandsons TJ (Jenna) and Derek (Farrell) Brassard, step grandchildren Dustin (Rachael) and Torri Fernandez, Benjamin Snow, great grandson Weston Brassard, step great grandchildren Levi, Jude and Scarlett Fernandez, sister Janet (Mike Denney), brother Bernard Beebe (Sandy), nieces Onja and Ariel Beebe, and nephew Jalen Beebe.

Barb was preceded in death by her father in 2014 and her mother in 2015.

Barb was an active member of several local organizations which included being a member of the board of the North Country SPCA, and a contributing member/employee of RSVP. Barb enjoyed many hobbies such as crochet, spending time with grandchildren, doing puzzles and lunches out with friends. Barb adored her cats Buffy, Felicia and Foof.

The family will be greeting friends and relatives in the spring at a service to be held at Union Cemetery, Port Henry.
