Auretta G. Laribee, 58, of Buck Mountain Rd., Crown Point, NY passed away at UVM Medical Center in Burlington with her family by her side.

Auretta was born November 14, 1962 in Ticonderoga, NY to the late Leo T. Lacey Sr. and Shirley E. Lacey.

She moved in with her grandmother Auretta Williams, whom she was named after, and took care of her until she passed in her 80’s.

Auretta graduated from Crown Point Central in 1981. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and caregiver. She worked for North Country Home Services for 24 years, from June 4, 1997 to present 2021 .

She is survived by two sons, Jerry J. Laribee Jr. and Thomas R. Laribee Sr. (Shannah) both of Crown Point.; four grandchildren, Savannah, Miley, Thomas and Owen, all of Crown Point; one brother, Robert C. Lacey Sr. (Belinda) of Crown Point and one sister, Debbie Whitford (Shawn) of Crown Point; a brother-in-law, Donald Laribee (Linda) of Crown Point and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Paulette Taylor, one brother, Clifford R. Lacey Sr., two nieces, Hope Ann Lacey and Kennedy R. Taylor and many more family members.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Harland Funeral Home.
