Anthony (Tony) R. Macey 84, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on January 11, 1940 to Leander & Juliette Macey
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara (Trudeau) Macey, his true love. He has two sons, Mark (Michelle), Anthony (Terry), four grandchildren Tanner, Morgan, Alexandra & Robby and 6 great grandchildren. Five brothers Reginald, Ivan, James (Patricia) David (Josephine) and Roland (Annette) Four sisters Bernadette Putnam, Elizabeth (Joseph) Duval, Carlene (Michael) Cowan and Doris Macey.
Brother and Sister in-laws. Darlene (David) Hurlburt, Richard Trudeau, Bernard Trudeau, Cathy Clarke, Warren (Cindy) Trudeau and Edward (Beverly) Trudeau and many nieces and nephews.
Tony graduated from Crown Point Central School in 1958 and Minor Agriculture Institute in 1959.
Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the IPCO Quarter Century Club.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother Roger and brother in-laws Larry Trudeau and Richard Putnam.
Tony was a true family man, he never missed any of the kids sports games. Tony loved the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. In his spare time he enjoyed helping family, friends and even strangers.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ticonderoga NY. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow at the K of C in Ticonderoga.
Memorial donations can be made in memory of Tony to the High Peaks Hospice.
