Andrew H. Holbrook

Andrew Holmes Holbrook Sr (Big Andy)  passed away on April 11th, 2021 at Essex Centers in Elizabethtown NY peacefully in his sleep at the age of 95. He was the husband of Dorothy A Holbrook(Fuller). They shared 35 years of marriage together.

         Born in Monkton Vt, on February 4th 1926. He was the son of Samuel and Isabelle Holbrook. He was a laborer for many years for a fuel company out of Rhode Island. He also worked at a rubber factory out of Pawling Ny.

         He is survived by his wife Dorothy A Holbrook(Fuller) and their 3 children. Andrew H Holbrook Jr and his wife Melanie. Margaret DuRoss and her husband Jeremiah. Julia Dygert and her fiancé David Lorette Jr. His grandchildren Ethan Evens, Lucas Evens, Azaleah Lorette, Sophia Lorette, Nadia and Peyton. Along with many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 daughters from a previous marriage Karen, Freida, Theresa and Patricia. Also 2 girls he raised Courtney Garibay(Evens) and Tiffany Evens. He is predeceased by his parents and all his siblings.

          He was a veteran who served our country in both WW2 and the Korean War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

       A graveside service will be held in May 7th at 11am at South Moriah Cemetery in Moriah NY.
