Albert F. Cutting Sr.

Albert F. Cutting Sr, of Moriah Center, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 13, 2023.

Albert was born in Crown Point NY on June 30,1943 to the late Roy and Eva (Fuller) Cutting. 

Albert is predeceased by his siblings, Roy (Sonny) Cutting, Julie Trybendis, Shirley (Cookie) Sargent, Daniel (Dan) Cutting.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Judy (Decker) Cutting. His children, Rebecca (Becky) Cutting, Nancy (Cutting) Smith and Albert (Fred ) Jr (Jamie) Cutting.

His ten grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Todd Cutting, Dakotah Cutting, Kenzee Cutting, Chyna Cutting, Megan Smith, Tyler Smith, Emily Lafountain, Jaydon Lafountain. Hailee Cutting, Landon Cutting, and his much-loved dog Lefty.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law Catherine (Kay) Cutting and his brother-in-law David Decker. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Albert served in the US Army from 1965-1967.He worked for International Paper Company in Ticonderoga for 37 years. After retirement he liked to spend his time with his grandchildren, tinkering with small engine repairs and hanging with his dog.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital Infusion Center and Hospice for the excellent care, compassion and comfort given to Albert and his family.

Calling hours with be Monday April 17, 2023 from 5-7 at Harlands Funeral Home Port Henry, NY. Burial will be announced at a later date.
